Lunch in the Lord’s Presence

Pray with us for connections deepened in Italy. In 2024, the Trewern family invited 13 expat women — women who live in a country that is not their own — to their home for lunch. These women were from 10 different nations: Switzerland, Turkey, France, the United States, Italy, Sweden, Mexico, El Salvador, England, and Japan. The Trewerns covered the gathering in prayer before everyone’s arrival. They prayed a blessing before the meal. Afterward, many of the women told them this had been very impactful. One described the event as “being wrapped up in soft cotton.” Another said that while hearing the blessing, her “heart felt warm.” The Trewerns say, “We know they are doing their best to describe the presence of God. We believe each of these women are salvation miracles in motion.” Pray with us for these women.

  • Pray for each woman who attended this lunch, that they continue seeking the Lord’s comfort and presence.
  • Pray that ministry opportunities continue to present themselves in Italy.
  • Pray for the Trewerns’ strength and renewal as they share God’s Word.

Many people in Europe, like in the following story, don’t know that Jesus loves them. AGWM workers are boldly sharing this truth in Europe, but there is more to be done. Pray for more workers to reach Europe’s unreached.

GRANADA

They Have No Idea

The Fosters, missionaries to Granada, organized an event with their church plant to answer the question, “What is the next step I need to take in my walk with Jesus?” One young student, Celia, had recently accepted Jesus. She responded, “When I get back to my hometown, I can’t wait to tell people about Jesus. I had no idea. They have no idea. People have got to hear about this.” The same week, another man told the Fosters, “Until you, I had never met anyone who believes in God.” The people of Granada need Jesus’ love, but some have no idea it exists. Pray for the Fosters as they continue to bring the gospel to this country.

  • Pray for Celia as she builds her faith and shares it in her hometown.
  • Pray for continued connections with the man who had not met any Christians.
  • Pray that more workers are raised up to reach Granada.
