Reaching the Never-Reached in Thailand

Pray today for a new project in Thailand. Global workers Kevin and Sandy Barner are partnering with a local pastor, Pastor Rong. Pastor Rong leads a large church, and he has led the planting of five additional churches. The Barners share, “Through his compassion efforts, Pastor Rong has become a beacon of light, bringing running water to 150 families in communities deprived of even the most fundamental amenities.” Pastor Rong and his wife, Ning, are raising money to buy a new property that will greatly expand their ministry among Thailand’s never reached. This property will “serve as a hub for the entire community,” housing a new church and many outreaches. Pray with us for the successful acquisition of land and completion of this project.

  • Pray that enough funds are raised to buy this new land.
  • Pray for Pastor Rong as he finds new and creative ways to reach the never reached in Thailand.

So many people are searching for something real to place their trust in. We know that this Person is Jesus. Pray that God calls more workers to serve among the unreached in Asia Pacific, bringing the gospel where it has never been.

MYANMAR

Salvation Among Myanmar Students

Floyd and Katrina Graham serve among Myanmar students in Thailand. Recently, a Myanmar girl asked Katrina to talk with her about Jesus. They shared a 45-minute conversation about “how Jesus bridges the gap of sin between God and mankind.” A week later at a Christmas celebration, the girl and her boyfriend both gave their lives to Jesus. The Grahams share, “We are so thankful that we have been able to find the Myanmar students and provide this space where they feel safe — where we can build relationships of trust so we can share with them the hope they can have in Jesus.” Pray for these new believers and the other students in the Grahams’ ministry.

  • Pray that this couple continues building and strengthening their new faith in Jesus.
  • Pray for the many Myanmar students currently seeking comfort and peace.
